Levi, Mama hasn't been very good at writing on your blog lately. You are so busy that I have to keep an eye on you all the time and I don't have much time to myself. I thought I'd write a few little things about you these days...
1. Whenever anyone asks about if you are a good boy, I say that you are a good boy but you are loud and wild :) You are definitely loud. You love the sound of your voice. You jabber a ton lately, but mostly you say ball, dada, uh oh, and the latest is "bung", which is your version of balloon :)
2. When we lay you down in your crib for a nap or at bedtime, you search and search for the corner of your blankie and then you are fine.
3. You have had a cold for almost a month now. Daycare germs are strong buddy. We took you to the dr on Sunday and you got a steroid shot for croup. You just weren't sleeping.
4. You have discovered that you can push things. You push the kitchen chairs all around, you push me, you close doors. It's kind of funny.
5. You have started bringing things to me that you want me to do something with. Your latest obsession is with your Jack in the Box that Nana and Papa gave you for Christmas last year. You bring it to me when you want me to crank the handle and you get so excited when the monkey pops out :)
6. Your high instep on your feet is making it nearly impossible to find shoes that fit you. I took you to the mall yesterday and your feet measured a 4 1/2, but we couldn't get your feet in anything but 6's. So, we left without shoes. Guess we will have to dress you in ugly shoes for the rest of your life. Sorry buddy :(
7. You are starting to point at pictures when we ask you who people are. You are really good at finding Gram and Papa. We're working on Nana and Gramps.
8. Your hair is getting longer and I like it :)
9. You love going to MyGym. When we get there you are so excited and you run into the play area and yell "BALL" almost every single time :)
10. You are almost outgrowing your size 4 luvs diapers. Good thing we bought some size 5's when Nana and Papa were up.
11. You say "da da da" when we tell you to dance, and you squat your little butt down, almost all the way to the ground and bop up and down. It is the CUTEST thing ever! We just love it. We try to turn on some music almost every evening just to see you "da da da" ;)
12. Your absolute favorite thing to eat lately are these little veggie and/or fruit pouches that you can squeeze in to your own mouth. We packed a bunch of them for the cruise that we're going on in January.
13. Miss Stephanie, at daycare, told us that when you are sad, you go up to a picture of Mama and Dada that's on the wall in your daycare room, and press your forehead against it. Melts Momma's heart.
14. You aren't much for drinking these days. I don't know if it is your cold, or if you just don't need much fluids, but you just don't want to drink anything lately. I'm trying to get you off of your addiction of warm, hemp milk. It would be a lot easier if you just drank it cold. For now, I guess we will keep heating it if it's the only thing you'll drink.
15. You started saying something last week that sounds like "ah-bid-ah". We don't know what it meant, and you aren't saying it anymore, but you had us guessing for a few days.
16. We are trying to round up some babysitters for you. Your Gram and Auntie Kris always offer, but we'd like to have some teenage girls that live close by that we could call too. Your Momma and Dada need a date! :)
17. Thanksgiving day is tomorrow. It is your second one. You couldn't eat anything last year, and unfortunately you can't eat much again this year. You'll probably like the turkey, but everything else probably has milk in it. We'll see buddy. Do know, that you are always going to be at the TOP of my "I'm grateful for" list, every single year. I just love you so much Levi!

Love, Mama

  1. Nana loves reading all about these cute little things you do, Levi. Your Mama does a good job of recording these memories for you and all of us. Love you so much, little guy!!!
