Levi's Place: 8 months old!

It has been the busiest month of my life this past month. I went on my 1st vacation, Mommy had her 1st Mother's Day, I've met some milestones, Mommy turned 32, Nana and Papa were up to visit, Gram babysat a couple of times, I went swimming for the 1st time, I went to the "wet room" at daycare for the 1st time, my cousin Chloe had heart surgery, my cousin Grant turned 10, and my cousin Griffin had his 1st communion so I saw a bunch of relatives, I started taking baths in the big boy tub, Mama got a new camera so she took a BUNCH of pics of me, I tried more new foods, and I even had the stomach flu.

For Mother's Day I gave Mama a Mosaic Stepping Stone kit. We are going to make it someday together and she is going to put it outside someplace nice. She kept telling me all day that this day was special all because of me :) Dada and I made her french toast for breakfast, and later we went to my cousin, Grant's, birthday party. That is where I pulled myself up to standing for the 1st time. Everybody saw it. I was so proud of myself! This is me and Mama that day.

Daycare has a "wet room" where we kids get to go and play. Daddy came down during it so that he could see me in action. I loved it!! I wasn't too sure at first, but soon, I saw that my friends were having fun and so then I started to too. Here's me in my swimtrunks ready to go!

I love being in the water, so it's a good thing Mommy and Daddy decided it was time to put me in the big boy tub. It is so much fun! I get to play with toys and splash, splash, splash! These are actually pictures from the day I had stomach flu. Mama didn't know it yet, she thought I might have been sick just the one time during my nap, so she put me in the tub. I had fun, but then I started to whine, and when they got me out, I got sick again :(

Some of the milestones I met this month were, pulling up to standing, pushing up to sitting, and army crawling. I am so close to crawling. Mama and Dada think I will crawl in the next couple of days! I am also super close to cutting my third tooth. It is my right one on the top, center. It hurts and makes me a little fussy. I will let ya know when it pops through.

Chloe had heart surgery this month too. I didn't get to see her since I am so little, but I did get to see Nana and Papa while they were here. I won't get to see them again until July. I will have lots of new tricks to show them then :)
