6 months old!

I turned 6 months old yesterday! I also had my checkup today. Dr K says that I am doing great, even though I have a pretty bad cough right now. Anyway, here's my stats:
I weigh 18 lb 4 oz (65%)
I am 27" long (72%)
and I still have a big head 45 cm (91%)

Dr K said that he was very impressed by my big noggin....he calls it "brain development". He kept telling Mommy that it was very good. I knew that Mommy was wrong when she tells me that I just have a huge head. I am actually really smart!!

I did hear him tell Mommy that she and Daddy can't give me a bottle in the middle of the night anymore. What?? I like that bottle. I might make it pretty rough on them so that they know that I don't like this idea. Lots of crying....and no sleeping. Ha...that'll teach 'em.

Also, he told Mommy that I can start to have all kinds of foods. I can have meats and finger foods whenever Mommy is ready for me to start them. I am going to start to get foods 3 times a day instead of once or twice. One other bad thing that I heard though, is that I have to have 1/2 cup a day of cereal because I need the iron. I HATE cereal! I gag, sputter, and spit it out. Mommy has even tried to sneak it in my sweet potatoes and applesauce, but I know better. Good luck to them trying to get that in me.

Mommy is going to try to get me off of the Axid. Dr K said to stop giving me the morning dose, and then after 3 days, I won't need my nighttime dose. Hopefully I can stop taking it because I don't like it.

I did get a shot today....why oh why do they keep poking me? Also, mean Dr K dug out my ears again. Mommy says that it's Daddy's fault that I have so much ear wax. Thanks Daddy! The crying and screaming that I did during that is what it will sound like in the middle of the night when I want my bottle ;)

Some of my favorite things to do right now are jump in my jumperoo, play on my blanket with my alligator rattle, octopus, and Sophie. I love to watch the cats walk by and sometimes I even reach out to pet them. I love it when Mommy and Daddy pretend to drop me! I am still super ticklish, and I love it when they say they're going to "get me"...this makes me laugh and laugh. Oh, and speaking of laughing...I crack up when people laugh at me. Even if they are fake laughing.

I get my "6 month" pictures taken by a professional this Sunday, so Mommy will probably put up some of those next week, but here are a couple she took today and yesterday.
