Each of those dollar signs represents how many hundreds of dollars Mommy and Daddy are going to have to spend on my new formula, Neocate, per month. I have been on Nutramigen for about a month, and it was going good at first, but then my little gut went back to it's old tricks...spitting up, diarrhea, and vomiting oh my. Plus, Mommy noticed that I was acting as if I had a cold for the last few weeks. I hate that booger sucker thingy. So, she drug me to see Dr K today and we drug along a dirty diaper for him to see. He listened to Mommy tell all about my gut and fussiness and then took my dirty diaper and ran some tests on it. I guess it showed that I have blood in my poo. That means that I have a pretty severe allergy to milk. How can I be a milk monster and be allergic to milk?? So, anyway, he put me on Neocate. It is hypoallergenic and will help calm down my upset tummy. Plus, Dr K thinks that my reflux and boogery nose is from the allergy too.
I also found out that I weigh 14 lbs 1 oz and I got some shots too. I don't like them. The Hep B shot made me awfully fussy tonight. Poor Mommy and Daddy. Good thing for Tylenol. I will let you all know how the Neocate works. Cross your fingers!
